Why I Don’t Have Cable

Every once in a while, usually at the gym, I catch a preview for NBC’s new series Lipstick Jungle. Nothing interests me about watching a bunch of privileged white women (okay, so Lindsay Price is half Korean) shuffle about the New York landscape. It’s an activity best reserved for my morning commute or a quick run by the Starbucks on Greenwich Avenue. One of the reasons that I choose to live here is the city’s rich diversity. A pity it’s not reflected on TV.
