Oh I think it’s brilliant that, after taking it to the street, WGA is now taking the fight where it really belongs: the Internet. Virtual picket lines originally sounded kind of, well, lazy.

Make It Stop

I’ve given up morning television. As Patsy Stone says, “If they could market this in pill form, Switzerland would be plunged into a recession.” I give you: The Bindi Irwin rap from this morning’s Today Show. Dark Crystal Muppet-esque indeed.

More Crazy French Woman

This is really out of control. What is the tactic here? To create such a spectacle out of yourself that you distract all attention away from your equally crazy client’s antics? Elyzabeth Michele, or whatever, you’re sadly mistaken, because we have time for both! I love how Gay Hairdresser tried to reign in the conversation. Get it back on track. Also, probably best to not refer to people as “retarded” when repping your disabled client. Just a thought.

Regarding leg warmers, nevermind… By the way, I can’t decide if this video is making me gayer than ever or a tab bit bi.

And so on and so forth… If Michele Elyzabeth is an attending in the PR/ER then I’d suggest that the state of U.S. healthcare is much more dire than originally thought. Um, crazy LA French lady, hairdresser, and lapdog: not helping!!

As if admitting to sex with Larry Craig weren’t boring and self-humiliating enough, now David Phillips is vowing to fight to keep his “POOFTER” Virginia vanity plates. “POOFTER”? Oh and Virginia leads the way in vanity plates, but apparently only in volume, not creativity. I’m proud to say I never had vanity plates on any of my Virginia cars. Not the Toyota Corona, not the Datsun 200 SX, and not the Saturn SL2 (note slight upward trajectory).

Will Ferrell: Get Lost
November 13, 2007 · No Comments
After Bewitched, I’m more than a little uneasy about Will Ferrell’s upcoming remake of one of my childhood faves, Land of the Lost. Will there be a dreamy older brother? Crystals? Breathtaking special effects and sets? At least they’re leaving Electra Woman & Dyna Girl alone. For now.

A little bad-mouthing by Babs Walters isn’t like the kiss of death from Oprah, but it still stings! How long is the wait to be seen in the PR/ER anyway? I waited in St. Vincent’s ER for five hours once, only to be seen for a total of ten minutes. The PR/ER is not like that I’m sure!

On Coincidence
November 9, 2007 · 2 Comments
The other day I was at the gym on the StairMaster, which, as most people know, is an archaic exercise device meant to approximate running for your life, or, say, drowning. Thankfully, the Tyra Banks Show was on one of the huge monitors. Tyra was doing a show on whether or not people would stop to help random others who were out on the street in some sort of distress. Like, say, arguing or falling down drunk. Well, they hired actors to fight in the street and filmed the rather predictable results. But they were filming this nonsense across the street from my gym. Which popped into frame every few seconds. So, I was at the gym working out, while watching the gym on TV.
